Dr. Terence Harrist has received annual teaching awards presented by the Harvard Dermatology Residents to faculty members for excellence in teaching.

We are pround and pleased to inform you that the American Society of Dermatopathology has awarded Dr. Harrist the Walter R. Nickel Award for Excellence in Teaching of Dermatopathology.

This nationally prestigious award, established in 1997, has been given in the past to six other luminaries in the field: Drs. Elson B. Helwig, A. Bernard Ackerman, James H. Graham, Wilma F. Bergfeld, Antoinette F. Hood, and N. Scott McNutt.

While all of us here know what a privilege it is to sit at the microscope and learn from Dr. Harrist, we are very glad that his expertise has been recognized in this manner and extend our heartfelt congratulations!
