Dermatopathology
services are under the full-time direction of Dr.
Terence Harrist, a diplomat of the American Board of Pathology
and Dermatopathology. In addition to Dr. Harrist, five dermatopathologists
are devoted to covering the full spectrum of human cutaneous disease,
its microscopic description and clinical correlation. Immunohistochemical
and immunofluorescence procedures are performed daily in our laboratory
facility. Our physicians are available on site to discuss specific
case histories and microscopic findings. We are a primary dermatopathology
training site of the Harvard Dermatology Residency program and participate
in weekly pathology and dermatology conferences at affiliated hospitals.
